Conventional Woodworking utilizing Hand Instruments: Ending Inside of an Off Grid Log Cabin DIY Kitchen

Share it with your friends Like

After skating on skinny ice, I take advantage of conventional woodworking handtools to work on the inside of the log cabin. I add a second layer of wooden to the kitchen countertop, set up a cistern hand pump to provide water to the sink, fabricate and set up copper to the backsplash and construct my canine, Cali, a brand new raised mattress with storage inside.
The video begins with drone footage of me skating on skinny ice of a marsh and on the finish of the video, I discuss doing precisely that as a child and the way I discovered a lot from that marsh, from find out how to skate and play hockey to find out how to establish birds, animals and bugs of a marsh.
Because of David Oxley from Precision Sheet Steel for his beneficiant donation of the sheet of copper.

If your water source is always moving….good source of electricity (besides solar) and the means to get running water to cabin as well.

Do you ever get so many ideas running through your head and projects going full steam, that you just wished you could take a vacation, only to realize that you ARE on vacation?😐

You do great videos. I've been a Carpenter my entire life specializing in historic restoration, but my passion is making colonial era furniture and accessories. Watching your videos I'm sure you'll understand the satisfaction of aching palms from too many hours pushing saws planes and spokeshaves.

question: whats with oiling the wood inside? dont you preserve them?

At least for moisture protection and to prevent dehydration, wood rot.
