On this video I’m constructing my daughter her very personal workbench. That is the right challenge for that aspiring woodworker in your loved ones. I constructed the bench out of 2×4’s and 4×4’s, and a woodworkers vice. The challenge took two days to finish. That is the right weekend challenge. Do not get your children these low-cost plastic workbenches from toys-r-us — go for the true deal and foster their love of the craft from a younger age. You can too embody some wooden scraps and wooden glue to allow them to actually get to work.
